Our Services

CUVAS Nets deliver impenetrable or sacrificial net barrier solutions against Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

Through joint development with Ukrainian experts and universities, we provide battle proven solutions to very difficult security settings, including shielding against Shahed class drones.

For safety reasons, we are not showing product details. Contact us for references, and to discuss your needs.

UAV & Drone denial nets

Our solutions can be engineered to handle the following types of attacks:

·      Explosions

·      Kinetic energy

·      Fire

·      Acid

We specialise in creating physical net barriers that fall into 2 main scenarios, or a combination of:

Scenario 1:
Sacrificial but repairable nets, meaning that they will cause e.g. a Shahed / Geran drone to detonate above and away from the intended target. After the explosion, the nets can be repaired.

Scenario 2:
Impenetrable by primarily non-explosive airborne drones, but also seaborne or ground based.

This is achieved using our flexible CUVAS stainless steel cable nets that are suspended from pylons, steel cables, and/or existing buildings.

Materials are suitable for use in harsh environments, and are unaffected by fire, salt water and moisture, cold, heat, UV light, and has a very high tolerance for wear and tear.

In addition, our solutions can be engineered to withstand snow and wind loads as needed. This adds up to give our projects a lifespan of 30 years or more.

Types of clients we can serve?

  • Prisons

  • Critical public or private infrastructure

  • Energy infrastructure

  • Military facilities

  • Industry concerned of espionage & sabotage

  • Data centres

  • VIP protection

Types of UAV that our products can withstand?

  • Shahed / Geran drones, or other drones with similar warhead capability

  • Commercial drones outfitted with fire or acid bombs

  • Commercial drones outfitted with drop devices to deny drop-off of:

    • Weapons

    • Phones

    • Cash

    • Narcotics

  • Reconnaissance drones

  • Seaborne drones

  • Ground based drones

  • Kinetic impact of heavier drones, fragments or debris

In each case, the product and project will be engineered and dimensioned according to the client’s needs.

Stand-alone or part of layered defence

Our products provide a stand-alone physical net barrier, or can operate as a last-ditch defensive net barrier as part of a layered C-UAV (Counter-UAV) defence system, which can be paired with electronic countermeasures and/or C-UAV weapons systems.

Engineered to your needs

Our projects are engineered to your needs, via collaboration between Danish and Ukrainian engineers.

This offers the best of both worlds: Danish reliability and trust, combined with cutting-edge, battle-proven experience from the Ukrainian front-lines and engineering community.

Joint Danish/Ukrainian engineering

Part of our engineering team works in vicinity to the front lines in Ukraine, which allows us to gather data and experience from real-world and battle-proven scenarios. We are therefore able to draw on highly specialised modelling expertise:

For example dissipation of explosions – How much stand-off distance is needed between a physical net barrier and an object to be protected, in order to prevent catastrophic blast damage from e.g. FPV drones.

We can handle a wide range of engineering, modelling and real-world tests, as precursor to a tailormade project.
